People ask frequently about what they should wear on our fishing trips. With our shortest trip being 6 hours long coming unprepared for your trip could spell a long day on the water.  We want to make sure you come prepared, so you can make the most of your trip and have a fantastic experience

What Should I Wear On A Deep Sea Fishing Trip?

  • Hat

What Should I Wear For A Half-Day & Full Day Trip?

The important thing to remember for a half-day trip is to bring clothes for both and cold & warm weather. If you're going on the morning, half day trip, dress warmly in the morning and bring lighter clothes to change into when it gets warm in the afternoon. If you're going on the afternoon trip dress lighter in the afternoon with warmer clothes to change into in the evening when it gets cool. If you’re going fishing on the full-day trip, bring clothes for both the warm and the cold. It always pays to be prepared

What Should I Wear For An Overnight Trip?

Preparing for an overnight trip requires more preparation since you'll be spending at least one night on the boat. It is important to bring multiple changes of clothes because you never know when you will get fish blood, seawater or who knows what on your clothing.

It's essential to prepare for every kind of weather including rain heat or cold.  It can also be nice to bring some leisurely clothes in the evening to relax in

  • Hat
  • Sunglasses With (sunglasses straps)  
  • Closed-toed shoes, preferably boots, we prefer the xtra tuff brand
  • Sandals
  • Coat or jacket  
  • Waterproof Jacket
  • Multiple Shirts
  • Waterproof Shorts & pants the weather can change frequently offshore

  • Sweatpants for the evening
  • Bring Multiple pairs of socks
  • Multiple pairs of underwear
  • Toiletries

What Should I Wear For A Long Range Trip

Preparing for a long-range trip is the most involved process depending on the length of your trip I would bring several pairs of clothing pack like you would for a vacation follow all the recommendations above to ensure that you are well prepared and comfortable for your long-range trip.  It's best to call the office of your long-range boat to know precisely what you should bring

What Other Items Should I Bring?

  • Bring cash for the galley and fish cleaning. Our boats only accept cash. 
  • Bring a backpack or bag
  • Gars and Pliers
  • seasick medicine - we recommend. if this is your first time going fishing it's better to take the seasick medicine even if you don't know if you'll get seasick it's better to be safe than sorry in this situation
  • hand towel

All of our boats have a full-service galley but feel free to bring your food or snacks as long as there is no alcohol (don't worry we serve beer), and it is not in a cooler
